Content with purchase

The order process went smoothly and I received the Arrow within a week. I was a tad starteled that the package was sent from Hong Kong, but well. The watch came in a light blue case covered with faux leather or leather. A polishing cloth was also included. The watch's leather strap felt way less stiff that I have experienced with other straps. It curves nicely around the wrist and seems to be padded. I emanates a faint smell that I cannot identify. I hope it will fade away with time.
A manual is not included but setting time and date is easy for somebody who is familiar with mechanical watches.
The watch looks good, even under a magnifiying glass. I compared it to a Swiss watch of almost the same price point. As far as I can tell as a hobbyist, both watches have similar built quality. Crosshairs, lettering on the dial and borders of the lume are tidy. The lume absorbs light easily and glows greenish in the dark. Porcelain dial is of a rich black and slightly reflective.
The movement looks much better in the metal than on the photos. The grey coating has a metallic shine that goes well with the blued screws. The rotor spins easily but produces a faint sound while doing so. An internet research revealed that this is a characteristic of the movement. When the watch is on the wrist, the sound is inaudible.
So far I only had a minor issue – if you can call it an issue. I wore the watch on a hot summer day with hard sunlight coming almost directly from above. The flanks of the hands looked whiteish and dull when the light hit them. The watch was in a position with the crown pointing almost skyward. I think that the flanks of the hands have not been polished and that that creates the effect. In other light condition the effect does not appear. However, I have to be realistic: the Arrow is not a luxury watch that costs thousands of euros. Probably the effect would also have appeared on other watches of mine. So, take my comment with a pinch of salt.

My final verdict: The Arrow was worth while the purchase.

Watch is finished nicely, dial is superb and I like the onyx-porcelain dial a lot. Crown is engraved and it could be winded easily. Leather strap is black and red and I like the contrast, very comfortable. Movement is top notch Swiss Made, with tungsten rotor, 68 hours power reserve. For the money paid, it is a great value. Like my friend said, "what's not to like."
